Men are so matter-of-fact.
Quote of the day:
After about ten days of feeling so much better, the baby popped up like a balloon again and today is the epitome of miserable in seemingly all directions. By mid-morning I hadn’t gotten much past lying on the recliner crying. Adam acted oblivious for the most part until after I sent him for the second tissue.
Adam: “You should just, (pause) stop your tears, get up, and move around.”
Quote of the month:
Last week David Lee and I were talking about something I can’t remember anymore when somehow the subject of our marriage came up.
David Lee: “Are we really going on six years this summer?” looking mildly surprised
Me: in shock and feeling suddenly very old, “hey, we’re just at 5 1/2 right now.”
David Lee: “No, we’re every bit as close to six as 5 1/2.”
pause
David Lee: “We’ve probably beat the national average by now.”

Oh,no! I didn’t know you weren’t doing well. I kept thinking about you today but I was gone. I do hope tomorrow is better. What did you tell the little man?
Adam amuses me. Hopefully by the time his wife is pregnant and crying he’ll learn to only think words like that and not actually say them!
LOL. We’re coming up on six in less than a month and I am also suddenly feeling very old. Now you have me curious as to what the national average is. I hope you’re feeling better today.
I had to laugh out loud at Adam, but I am sorry you’re in pain. Hope the next week is better for you!
In Aug. it’s 7 yrs. for us! π Maybe this will be a ‘perfect’ year?? I doubt it. π
are men really all alike from that age on? π hope you feel better soon!!
If it were only that easy, right? Sorry
Hey, six years is not that bad. In a way it doesn’t seem that long at all! I think of the folks who have had 4 or 5 babies in that time of marrigae….and am glad it’s not me! Preg. can be stressful to a marriage, but those sweet babies can help! Hint….put a tissue box beside your chair. π
