Durlin and Emily had a BOY!  He is an absolutely beautiful baby (someday he will be so all-boy he would growl at being called beautiful; but for now I doubt he minds).  Demetrius Large e-mail view

What a cutie! Makes me wanna hold him.

You’re too funny about the painting…you know I did that because the thought of painting a wall a solid red scared me silly. I knew you could see all the imperfections. Using the Woolie is so easy a child could do it. It’s almost impossible to mess it up. That said, it would be an awful lot of fun to come and paint it for you. How about I bring all my scrapbook stuff down and I’ll paint it while you work on this scrapbook I’m trying to get finished by the middle of May? 🙁  I have not had time to spend a day just working on it and in reality I should spend several weeks doing nothing but…

Now next week I’m going to the Regional Student Convention in Muncie, Indiana with the school from Tuesday through Friday, so there goes that week. After that, I’d better buckle down.

As for the paint color for the kitchen, it was called Apple Red and I know I got it at walmart, but I don’t know what brand of paint it was. It started out as sort of an experiment but I liked the color so well I left it. It looked pretty bright red out of the can but I was happy with the finished product.

So very, very sweet!  If you send me three pictures of Adam, I’ll make you a header.  I have a design pictured that I was originally planning to use for mine, but then this popped out instead.  Three different expressions from the same photo shoot would be perfect.

Well, now, we might be on to something here. I’m not sure I would let you off with one day of scapbooking, so I might paint quite tediously. 🙂 Actually, by technique, it’s probably one of the faster ways of painting since you have to keep moving to blend everything in before it dries.

When do you need it done? I leave for convention with the school students on Tuesday and come home Friday night. And then I have to consider that at work we are working on a new catalog down at work, which for reasons unbeknownst to me, has to be done by the end of the month. My contribution is that any sets they need to shoot photos of at our studio, I need to be there to decorate.

They’re shooting six sets at two new spec houses next week while I’m at convention and Dan’s kinda grumpy about that. The marketing people who are doing the catalog hired an interior decorator to decorate those since I felt out of my league. But he wanted me to be there so that if he didn’t like something they did, he could bounce it off me. 🙂 I assured him I have great confidence in the interior decorator since I’ve seen some of her work. It would be fun to watch her work, though.

gotta run. have a HUGE day today. Too many details to mention here, but the busyness runs right up through Tuesday morning at 4:00 am when we leave for Indiana for convention.

and I am NOT impressed that we’re ‘springing’ forward’ this weekend. It’s hard enough to get up now!

So cute, I am so happy for them that he is here safe! Tell her congrats for me if you see her. Hope all your house “stuff” gets done soon. I  remember how you think surely soon at least one thing will be all done, but it just goes on and on and then suddenly it Is done!
