Oh Michelle, that is darling. My prayer for YOU is that you will really feel God’s loving arms extra close around you as you give of yourself to your hurting friend.
It took so much courage for you to do this for your friend, Michelle. God is receiving glory through your actions; your hands and feet at symbolic of His. I love to watch the body of Christ work in ways that bring Him glory. And the dress is absolutely beautiful, feminine, and special.
Aww, it is so pretty. The tucks are gorgeous, and I have a feeling God’s blessing was on this dress because that was a lot of detail in a little bit of time. Seeing the flowers with the dress makes me think of Friedrick and the flowers we picked that morning–and how these will always be a reminder of Sarah.
So beautiful and perfect for a little Angel. Your act of kindness brings tears to my eyes and touches a deep place in my heart. My heart goes out to you – the pain and memories still so fresh, and to Naomi and her journey of grief that has only begun. Praying…
@twofus_1 – It was very much a God-thing. I picked very, very little and I don’t think Kristina did at all. We put seven pin tucks in the skirt b/c Naomi carried her for seven months … and because seven is the number of perfection and Sarah is perfect in heaven. We already had the pink ribbon on (Naomi wanted a little pink) or we’d have done three tucks in the bodice somehow because she was girl number three for them. The dress kind of evolved as it went along. You know how that goes. 🙂 @fruitloops115 –
Lovely dress- will be praying for your friend & her family. I can’t imagine the pain & heartache of losing a child. May they feel our Lord’s presence during this time.
Exquisite and beautiful!! I just want so badly to be there right now. My heart breaks for her and Paul! The healing that God is doing in your heart is beautiful! It’s been taking my mind back to the pain of loosing our baby, but also to the happiness our babies are facing in heaven. Maybe they are running golden streets together this morning!(:
Very beautiful and touching. We too lost a little girl, stillborn due to a cord problem, and I remember years later when some friends lost one also, weeping for them, for the mother, knowing what she was going to face. Shattered hopes and dreams are never easy. I was blessed recently reading the book “Heaven is for Real”, the story of a little boy who went to heaven and came back. As his story came out in the months that followed, he told his mom about a little girl that came up and hugged him and told him she was his sister. His mom had had a miscarriage that he never knew about. Our babies are perfect and beautiful, waiting for us to join them!
The gift that comes from the heart also comes from God! What a blessing your are to your friends and family. Your are a strong brave encouragement to moms everywhere. The dress is beautiful, and has a healing settiment surrounding it.
To those of us who lost a baby or pregnancy grieve and then rejoice because we will see our childern in Heaven. Perfect, whole and pain free, living in a place where nothing can ever hurt them surrounded by Jesus and His Fathers love forever! They are forever Home!
Prayerfully

Absolutely beautiful…. And I love the pictures with the blossoms – it speaks of such life and hope, even with the tragedy of now. I often wonder how people make it without knowing there WILL BE another day of reuniting, FOREVER… What a promise to hold onto!

I am visiting to see how you have been. I have missed you. Praying that you are able to be an encouragement to your friend, even as you continue to work through your own pain in loss. You are loved.
@mytoesareblue – Thank you so much! It’s Sunday again which always means a harder day. And somehow, I’ve just kind of shut down blogging wise. I’m trying to work up the courage to post again b/c I know when I get started I’ll be ok.
@smilesbymiles – take your time. I’m sure there are things that you need to work through can be hard to get down or not really something you want to write out for others. share as you feel you are able. Hoping that the Lord continues moment by moment to heal your heart…day by day as he sees fit.

@idreamovtravel – I love to see that, too. It was amazing to see everyone at church pull together so hard and so quickly. The funeral director is going to be the father of the bride this Saturday …. all the food …. a designed and printed little memorial … and just the million and one things that go into a funeral. David said church on Sunday morning had a very different feel to it than he’s ever felt before.
