I’m sitting here in front of the computer wishing to do a million things and knowing full well that being vertical and moving will make me do things I wish very much not to do. So, instead, I’m playing with pictures and counting days until I will feel like a normal person. I’m also wondering just how dirty my house will get before it’s considered a health hazard to live here? Too bad there aren’t actually fairies.
I think this must be my all-around favorite picture of Demetrius. I love the ones with the suitcase and the hat; but something about this photo reminds me of a baby picture straight out of a turn of the century catalogue.
Adam loves to play with his trucks and I love to play with the time value on the camera. The other night when I created this it almost scared me for a minute. The lights were off in the living room and the picture on the back of the camera was eerily real. Now in the daylight it looks more like a night scene on an interstate then a huge fire.
And of course, the babies!
The next two are my favorite pictures of the last few months. I’m thinking of getting cards made and keep toggling between the two. Any votes?
Have a happy rest of the day ……….

Love looking at the photos. 🙂 I like the sepia one!
You take such great pictures. I hope you feel better soon.!!
Just surfing xanga and saw the pics of Rhoda and her girls. She used to be my neighbor in PA, and we go way back, ever since we were babies 🙂 Not sure i know who you are, but you have some great pics. Rachel
Great pics and i LOVE the first one of Beth’s babies!
OMW Demetrius looks so much like his mama! That could def be in a catalog for selling his outfit. Great pictures!
I have to know, WHO is the mommy in the 2nd & 3rd pictures? She looks so much like a girl from Lancaster who I used to work with that I’m almost convinced it’s her… ~Jo
Oh, and definitely the sepia-toned…it just has a softer, more old-fashioned air about it, plus I like her direct eye contact on that one. Beautiful pictures, as usual… ~Jo
I think I’d vote for the sepia one too….and I love that “turn of the century” picture….=)
I think maybe the sepia, but I do like the faraway look in her eyes on the b&w…you take amazing pictures! I wish you’d live closer to me 🙂 and btw, you have one handsome little guy–and congrats on your pregnancy!
I think these are some of your best pictures, ever. Ha, I see I disagree w/ everyone; I like the b and w one better. The last picture would also make a nice card. The one of T is good! Adam’s trike is perfect and even perfecter is the way he’s leaning on it. D looks like he’s really good at posing.
Missy’s dad is my brother. 🙂 She is only 8 years younger than I am, and we’ve grown up more like sisters than aunt and neice. 🙂 I have qualms about that young fellow marrying her and snatching her away from us… we all do, for that matter. Oh, believe me, we all like the young fellow very much indeed, but…. well, somehow I need to find a way to lure the guy to Iowa. To stay, I mean, although I just have this gut feeling that it won’t happen. But we serve an awesome and powerful God who is in the business of answering prayers, don’t we??!! That’s my comfort. LOL
Ok, first of all, you can actually choose your appointment time? I’m from Canada. We get squeezed in. Second, I’m waiting on them to call me with an appt. They said they would when they get my medical records but I’ll believe it when I hear it b/c who knows when they will even get faxed. But your idea sounds lovely. Great pictures, btw. Oh, and I’m so glad there was only one little person in that ultrasound!! See you in…um…3 weeks! Can’t believe I”m saying that.
So funny – I had decided on the B&W one and when I saw all the other comments preferring the sepia one, I thought I should go back and make sure – but I see Christy is with me – and yup – I still vote B&W.
Looks like you are staying busy – Have a great week – Mj
Uh m m , I’m having a hard time deciding, in fact their all such good pictures!
Hoping and Praying that you’ll soon be feeling a bit more normal soon. Luv Ya 🙂
I love the baby girls’ pudgy wrists and charming smiles. =)
the first picture in the post is my favorite. they are all good, though!
ryc- on saturday when i was shopping for the outfits to bring the baby home in, i thought it is SO good for the checking account that we don’t find out what we are having. because when you are waiting and waiting, it so fun to do the one thing that you can….buy clothes. but it’s easier to restrain myself if i don’t know if it is boy or girl. and i don’t want to end up with a rubbermaid full of the wrong clothes. then afterwards, i don’t feel like shopping and dragging my tiny baby into all the germy, wormy stores.
Hi,Just surfing xanga, Is that Tabita Schlabach? and Demetris’ is his mommy Emily? They may be relatives of my husband, so I was jst curious. You have some great photo’s there.
I know I’m lucky w/ my parents close by. Where are your parents? When is your baby due? Curtis and I were discussing how old Adam is. Curtis says 4??? It’s cool to be able to see pictures of your family and the others too. I told Curtis its a shame we don’t see more of all of you but I guess family gets spread out and you can’t really stay in touch w/ everyone. Do you take pictures for people? It looks like you do. I wish you’d be close enough to take a christmas picture for us! Hope you feel better soon!
thanx for all your answers!
Great photographs! 🙂 those babies are just adorable!! How old is Adam now?
yeah, when some folks came from a church here to help us unload they protested to my dad that he hadn’t told he has a castle! 🙂 Guess I should’ve specified, we’re renting that house/castle for between 1 and 3 yrs… :)come visit!
My site color and pictures look horribly washed out on this computer and I suddenly realized they look like this on yours. So I came to see how your pictures look here, and they do not have that gray look. Uh-oh, not good news for photo editing. =(((( How do we know true color??????
Beautiful pics once again!! I like the sepia one. I wish my girls would do this good when their picture is being taken!!! Tomorrow Treva is taking their pictures and I just hope and pray they behave, the other week they were a mess!! See ya.
