Liam was sitting on the island as David began to fix his honey cake, goat milk yogurt, and the usual array of vitamins. Like always, Liam started insisting, “Me ‘ant, bube’ies. Me ‘ant bebe’ies.”

Adam turned around from the table where he was scarfing down cereal, “Liam, can you say please for your blueberries?”

Liam: “No, me dan’t.”

Adam: in an awed voice of praise, “Good job, Liam, you used a contraction. Instead of saying, I cannot, you said, I can’t.”

Doesn’t it just warm your heart to hear one of your kids praising another one?  Derrick does that kind of thing with Nikki sometimes…like he’s just SO impressed that she thought of something/did something/knew something, etc.

And Adam…what a funny guy he is!

that Adam of yours is such a great guy. and Liam has such cute little words.
love this kind of sweet kid stuff!

but i have to say. i am worried about David.
his breakfast is alarming indeed. πŸ˜‰
    goats milk. shudder.
at least he has great taste when it comes to pickin a wife!

    love!

nope. nope. i get it now. πŸ™‚

and reading something that mentions Liam’s allergies and special dietary needs,
makes me realize that it must consume alot of mental and emotional energy to meal plan and prepare.
which would wipe me out physically. bless ya girl.
