Ok, so I’ve been tagged all because of Christy’s fascination with surveys and lists (see her site at : http://xanga.com/twofus_1 ).  Six weird, unusual, habitual, or just plain fun to hear about (and true) items about myself.  Here goes:

1.  I like cutting and laying out hardwood flooring and screwing down decking boards.

2. I thrive on being busy and having nothing to do is never on my agenda (although to be honest, being this busy for ten solid months has been a stretch).

3. I love to write.  It’s not unusual for me to fall asleep mentally formulating a short essay.  Unfortunately, there is no need for me to write at the moment (and no time).

4. I dream of going back to college, not necessarily to further my current degree, just for personal enrichment.

5. Most times I’d rather take seconds of the main course at meal time and skip dessert.

6. I LOVE to clean my house.

Well, that wasn’t so hard.  And since seven is considered the perfect number, here’s a bonus point.  I married someone who frequently responds to situations in an almost eerily “similar to my sister” manner and she says the same thing about her husband.  So now, I tag Katy, Amber, Jo, and Cynthia.

Hi Michelle!  I see you were one of the “lucky” ones Christy tagged:)  I enjoy reading about your life through Xanga and seeing pics of your cute little boy.  Sounds like you have been busy with your house, will you be done soon?  Maribeth

so am i to assume that the “katy” that got tagged is me,myself, and I ? just don’t want to think it’s me if you happen to know another katy. =)) well ……loved reading your list. i’m with you on #4 . just recently i told someone i’d love to go to college! just love to learn! i’m taking the same algebra course staci is taking just cause i love doing things like that!

My thoughts exactly (in relation to your comment).  Everyone thinks that the hairstyles on those pics are sooo funny….but I keep remembering how people fussed when the current styles started coming in.  Our children will probably ridicule today’s styles as much as we laughed at our parents’!

I got the tag…..I think you’re the 3rd or 4th person to tag me, so I’d better get it done.;-)  ~Jo

Laughed at your comment…you are anything but boring!  Btw, your son is anything but boring as well, his comments are so intelligent and hilarious at the same time.  Creativity and interesting definitely run in ya’lls family, I’m jealous!  Have a good one, and hope the house details are going good!

Thanks for the comment. I knew it helps to warn them what’s happening, but guess I wasn’t making a conscious enough effort to do it. Bath time went so much better last night! Of course, I probably shouldn’t have told you that – Christy and I have this joke about how when you tell someone something specific about your children, they usually start doing the opposite. Don’t know why, but seems like it happens a lot to me.:-(

Oh, I forgot to say I loved the list. I’m with you on 2 & 4, but 6 makes me wish you lived down here, incase you’d want to come help me! Of course, you did say you love to clean your own house, not other peoples. 🙂
