I have a second publisher looking at my children’s book about building a house and while we’re in the very beginning stages and he hasn’t made the slightest hint of a promise, he’s at least taking a longer look at it and corresponding back and forth. I have hope. Perhaps in vain. I was working on it again this morning, getting some files he needed, when I had a major brainstorm idea for another book on having a new sibling. Why do I torture myself like this??????????????????????

You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must say you are one talented lady! I hope it goes well w/ this publisher!
Keep trying lady! Hoping you’ll strike gold soon! I know what you mean about brainstorming. I’ve laid awake more than one night, my thought processes going in overtime, my brain racing to come up with creative ways to market my pictures.
Sounds great! And a little scary, hang in there.
That sounds awesome. I would love to read your books sometime!!
Go for it! Speaking of wonder woman…
I hope it gets accepted! Cheers!
Why do you torture yourself? Because you enjoy it, and you just can’t help it! I’m in the beginning stages of a children’s picture book at the moment, and there is nothing like that rush you get when a big idea suddenly invades your brain space. You stand back and gape at the intruder for a few seconds, before running to it and embracing it with both arms. That’s the way it is for me, anyway. Best wishes for more inspiration and long naps from both boys while you’re working on it!
I wanna read your books I think your xanga posts are so interesting i’m sure your books would be captivating! BTW that quote was from susie 🙂
