Adam started summer vacation with a BANG. Literally.
First day of summer vacation. First hunting trophy.
And before you feel sorry for the rabbit, feel sorry for my garden instead. The green beans would be twice as tall if the rabbits didn’t think it was a free all you can eat buffet.
Go, Adam. May you and your BB gun continue to be successful.
Yay! That is so exciting for them. 🙂 We’re thinking of getting Carson a bb gun for his birthday, he badly wants one.
That would have made my boys SO happy…to shoot a rabbit. Derrick got his first little chipmunk last year with his BB gun and he was so proud of it. We have a picture with all the kids lined up and one of them holding up the chipmunk!
Oh Cody would be so very tickled if he accomplished this! =)
My son killed a little rabbit yesterday too…LOL. It hadn’t started munching on my garden, but it was only a matter of time.

Yeah! That is such an exciting feat for a boy! And it’s nice when they are being helpful in the process right? May your beans flourish now, because there just couldn’t have been more than one culprit!;)
Nope, I’m not feeling one bit sorry for the bunny………or for the greedy birdfeeder-raiding squirrels, chipmunks, and blackbirds/starlings that my boy has been shooting since school’s out!
Although the $1-per-head bounty may need to change before he empties my change jar!

i am a mom of boys…so the bang in adam’s day makes me happy too. can’t help it. even if it is a cute lil bunny.
and when he’s done with garden eating rabbits, just bring him on up our way. we have crop eating ground hogs. and The Farmer pays boys to shoot ’em. 🙂
You go Adam! That is such a thrill for boys. Micah still loves to shoot pesky birds & tries to get the prairie dogs around here.:)
