Adam shows interest in the new baby by spurts and jerks. He hadn’t said much of anything for a week and I thought maybe this “every day is a sick day” theme is just becoming a way of life for him. Then last night he asked me again where my baby is and wanted to pat it before he went to bed.
Today I was sitting on the recliner trying desperately to eat some leftover lasagna when he arrived for some bites. “Is your baby liking this lasagna, too?” he asked.
“Oh, yes.” I said.
“My baby is, too.” Then he added, “Do you want to feel my baby?” I patted nicely where indicated and thought his baby seemed to be located a little far North. He went out to the kitchen for a drink. When he returned he said, “Actuawy, I have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 babies in my tummy. Well, some of dem are just in my ‘wegs’ (legs).”

Aww, Michelle!! π I wanna come see you-all… I’d love to come out… π I used to often say I had a baby and a lemon in my tummy. Uh… no clue where that came from. Give Adam a hug for me. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
Too cute! I think Adam and Carson would get along great together, they think alike! Hope you’ll soon be feeling better!
So I guess with 11 babies in Adam’s tummy, you can stop with these two. Did you manage to finish your lasagna?

ryc: I know what you mean about trying to get the right lighting!! And what is even more frustrating is trying to explain that to someone who just asumes that if you have a camera and enjoy photography, you should be able to do anything!! Wish you lived closer so I could get you to do weddings with me…I’m a big chicken, helped do my husband’s cousin’s wedding, and I’ve turned some down since, just not ready for the stress and everything. I actually prefer just doing kids portraits here at home in my “studio” where the lighting is more the same, and I know a little more what I’m working with. I have a pair of cheap umbrella ac slaves that work pretty good for what I do~

I needed a good laugh!! He must make your days more bearable when your not feeling so well… hopeful he just keeps you entertained with his little antics and not making big messes.
It as nice when the older one is big enough to intertain them selves:) Just wait till he asks how the baby got in there and how it is getting out:)
Brings back memories of ‘explaining’ to my 3 yr. old about the ‘baby in mama’s tummy’! Wait til he can feel it move…that’s exciting!
As far as how it got there, I told him that God allowed it to grow there, then when it’s time for it to come out, we’ll go to the dr. and he’ll help to get it out.
Just the other day he remarked again that, “Leandra came out of mama’s tummy.” She’s nearly 4 months old already!!!
What next is Adam going to come up with !! If he only knew the trauma of having 1 baby let alone 11 π π Oh the bliss of innocence ! π

it’s hard enough to walk these days, with just one in my tummy!!!!
Little boys are particularly funny! I have a habit of laughing all the time around “my boys’.
Great story for when he’s grown up!
