The yuckiest job on my “to do” list is done. I am now officially a nervous wanna-be. The CD with my children’s manuscript is burned, I’ve corresponded with a publisher, and as soon as I get a padded envelope, it’s ready to be sent.
I am also realizing that I am truly a pessimist. I’m making bets with myself as to how many days it will be before I get my first rejection letter. And thinking up suggestions for a consolation prize to my damaged ego when it happens.

Either way, I’d go eat at that Italian place you love. 🙂
Congratulations on finishing the manuscript!!
Publisher, please publish Michelle’s manuscript! I really, really want to read it.
Great job! …..you’ll have to let us know if it get’s published : ) so we can enjoy the fruits of your labor
You go girl! I have several ideas for a consolation prize but I’ll offer then IF they are necessary. I have high hopes for you and either way, my opinion of you will not change! I’m taking a writing course in college and I’m looking forward to honing my skills; I’m not too good at literary persuasion. Let us know the results so we can rejoice with you or be disappointed with you.
Way to go! I, for one, can’t imagine that it WON’T be published. To celebrate, go to a spa and let yourself be pampered silly. Amen.
You have a funny son! And I love those family pictures, particularly the one of the children and the wagon.
Congrats on finishing a manuscripts AND sending it. That’s a big deal that needs to be celebrated either way.
If only they knew the congrats for finishing the manuscript are so long overdue. 😀 Anyway, I hope too, it gets published, but mainly selfishly..:)
yes i wish that too, AND you would have to let me hold Liam all day too:):):)
What an adorable picture! I think you can celebrate just getting the yuckiest job done. =) And I can’t wait to read it!
