Since today is the fourth, Edenali is having their crews come help clean all the work related vehicles and take an account of all the tools in the forenoon. We’re having a company picnic at noon for everyone involved including their families and playing games in the afternoon. Adam was way too excited about finally being able to go to work with daddy. He begs to go along and David Lee has explained to him numerous times that some men (OSHA) would be upset to have him out there because they have rules regarding safety that would not include having a three-year-old on the job. I didn’t realize how badly he misinterpreted that until we were planning to stop in one day and he said, “Will the men not be there?” What men? “The men that will be mad at me?” More explaining.
But for today, he got to be a work man. I almost did a double-take when I went to his room this morning. There he lay, sound asleep and I was getting ready to wake him to go to work????????????????? I started whispering to him and when he started stirring I said, “Do you still want to go to work with daddy?” Eyes still glued shut and voice all froggy but the answer was clear as day, “YES.” And so they’re off…. one with coffee, the other with juice.

So very cute!
Did Adam have a fun day at work? “Work Day” happened to be at Grandpa’s house I hear !
Our boys would absolutely love to go to work with Daddy, but there’s no way that they can. Cute pic of the 2 of them heading out. I’ll bet that it was one of David Lee’s best days!
Thank you for your comment & for your continued prayer support. It means so much! ~Jo
